Question about speakers in Solera awnings

Hi folks. I haven't been on in a while, but I've been busy. Well, not really, but I didn't have any input or questions until now.

Before I ask this question I'll apologize if it's been addressed before. I did a search and while numerous problems were discussed I couldn't find a definitive solution to my problem.

The speakers in the Solera awnings are crap. I know this might come as a huge shock to you all, but they are. Any volume or bass at all and they vibrate and rattle like crazy and you can't even tell that it's supposed to be music coming from it. I had transistor radios growing up with better quality speakers.

While I bought this 26BH primarily for deer camp and have no intentions of blasting music in Mark Twain National Forest within a half mile of quality hunting spots, I do use the speakers a lot when it's parked at home.

So, my question is: Has anyone replaced these garbage speakers with a quality product, and if so, what did you use?

I was at our local dealer the other day looking at new 2018's. There was a big unit ( 34rsbs I believe) that was getting prepped, two or three workers going over the unit w a checklist, they had the radio on (speakers in the awning ends) and I was surprised how "crackling" the music was. It was not a good thing. So yes, the speakers in the awning ends seem to be poor quality. Replacing will be necessary but I wonder what to use? I mean it's in the end of an awning. I can see replacing a wall mounted speaker pretty easily, but one that's in the end of an awning? That's looks kinda custom. Then again I don't know much about audio.
Hopefully someone has an answer to the poor speaker issue.

I was having an intermittent speaker problem on my 2017 267BHSW with the solera awning speakers. Being the mechanic type guy I am I figured I would take a peek and see if my suspicions of a terribly wired connection was the culprit. It indeed was!
So I removed the speaker fairing to fix the loose wires and discovered that the speakers appear to be plastic welded into the awning end fairing. I honestly don't see how you would change them out with anything else. It looked like a 2 inch speaker with a plastic frame plastic welded to the main fairing.
I am sure it can be done but I won't be doing it any time soon.
