Question about WhiteHawk 27DSRL

We have a conditional offer to up-grade our Jay Flight 24RKS to a White Hawk 27DSRL We bought our Jay Flight for a 3 1/2 month travel trip around western US and Canada. It served us well with the 90 gallon fresh water tanks and the large double clothes cupboards. We now will likely be staying in one place for longer periods.
Any feed-back plus or minus would be appreciated.

For me the Whitehawk27 DSRL is the most beautiful TT I have ever seen. The floorplan was head and shoulders above anything else we looked at. IF we had owned a more capable tow vehicle we would be enjoying a 2016 Whitehawk 27 DSRL now. Opting for a trailer built by one of Thors sub companies, we can only hope that Jaycos quality rubs off on Thor. Enjoy the Whitehawk Dave, this Dave sure would !!

We own a 27DSRL and also up-sized from a Jayflight 24 footer. In our case a 24FBS.

The layout of the trailer is very comfortable and we really enjoy the rear living with the two recliners. Big step up from the extremely uncomfortable love seat in the FBS. While you will find the 27DSRL has more living space, you will likely find it has less interior storage space than your 24RKS. We looked at that unit and were very impressed with all the storage in it. But inevitably we wanted more living space than storage space.

We tow the 27DSRL very easily with our F150. So far, we are enjoying it alot. But look closely at the storage as it's all a bit odd. There is little to no space under either sink and almost all of the cupboards are either very short in height, or not very deep. We've had to make some adjustments for that, like cereal boxes don't fit much of anywhere but in the bathroom linen closet!

We wanted a couples trailer. We are empty nested and did not want bunks.
For two of us and 2 70lbs dogs we can stock food, water and clothing for 10-12 day trips.

We have storage for the ice maker, Power pressure XL, crock pot, toaster over, 2 dog beds and 2 cases of water as well as can goods, cereal, pasta, etc.

Cleaning supplies under the sink, pots pans in under sink cabinet, dishes and cups about sink.

Trash bags, 1st aid and trauma kits and under TV cabinet.

We love our 27DSLR.

Where are you putting all those small appliances (crock pot, etc)? Under the bed? We also keep our pots and pans in the lower cupboard by the back door.

Yes Under the bed. We are always interested in what is being done with 27DSLR owners and Whitehawk owners. Many great ideas.

We put 4K miles on our '15 27DSRL last summer without any problems. Excellent quality from Jayco. My wife (5'2") had to purchase a small step stool to reach inside the cabinets but that's not a big deal. I've always thought the more storage room the more unnecessary things you'll start carrying. For the 2 of us the trailer has enough storage room. This will be our 3rd summer and nothing has broken, needed repair or replacement it's an excellent trailer with a good floor plan.

I hear you. I think I may be guilty of packing too much stuff. I tried to "cull" the load when we moved from the 24FBS to this one, but it's likely still too much. I have food literally piled in every cabinet! LOL
