Rain Gutter Above Slide 2013 314 bhds

We experienced about four inches rain last night. On the large slide the window facing the rear of the rv began to leak inside the trailer. It appears the rain was being collected on the flat rail located above the slide then running backward and running off. When it fell the wind was pushing the stream to hit the window. My question is: do you think I need to find a gutter extension and what would I use? The channel appears to be larger and flatter than the typical roof drain on each side. I also assume I should pull the window and caulk. Anyone have ideas?

I've see where people have used clothes pins clipped to the regular gutters so the water would run out to the end of the clothes pin and then drip. Maybe that would work for the flat rails and not cost much to try. I have the same large flat rails above my slides but haven't had water come in the windows.
