Unhappy Rain Water Leak

We just entered the camping world with a brand new 20' TT. Our second time out we had strong rain while travelling. That night we found the bed at the front was wet and stains were in the walls and under seat storage. The dealer said it was repaired by re-caulking the front window.

After getting it back and it was sitting on the driveway, a strong all day rain got inside again, and it made the same cushion even more wet. The dealer said they are replacing the two front side windows this time.

We are considering approaching Jayco to get a different trailer. The dealer has already told us they will continue to fix the problem until it's fixed - no replacement. Meanwhile, we sit at home and watch the summer pass by. We're also concerned about mould as my wife and daughter have asthma.

Just venting, but also looking for input.

I would write Jayco. Let them know the problem they apparantly have with quality control. See if they can help you out.

New York State has a lemon law for vehicles. Not sure if it would pertain or if you have something similar where you live.

If the rv was brand new. I would not let this go. Call Jayco. Write a letter. Whatever it takes.

leaks

Take photos. Email to Jayco customer service. CC your dealer and lay out your concerns. Don't go in with your dander up. I had good luck using that route one year out of warranty. I took my unit to the Jayco In-Plant Repair Facility at Middleburg, IN, left it for a month and Jayco rebuilt the front of my unit due to water damage damage. I think there are some test available for mold.

Thanks Mohok1. We will give this a try and report back the outcome.
