Random hose?
What does this clear hose go to and does it need to remain there? I can only assume it's an air hose to blow out the lines for winterizing.
This is under the sink, behind the drawers. The pic is sideways and I cant figure out why.

It's to suck in antifreeze when winterizing.. Your valve is currently closed, when you winterize, open the valve and close your other inlet valves, turn on your water pump then run the antifreeze through all your taps, showers, toilets..

Looks like the suction hose to pull antifreeze into your system when you winterize or bleach water when you sanitize the system. Base on your location don't think you need to worry about the "winterizing",

Yep thats for winterizing your trailer. turn the black knobs, stick the hose in antifreeze and turn the water pump on. Well theres a little more to it than that but Skaling is right.
Grumpy, I never thought to suck in the bleach to sanitize with that hose. Good idea. I usually pour bleach right into my fresh water hose before hooking it to the pedestal feed...

Clorox in the hose. Good idea, saves pulling out a drawer and messing with the suction hose. Thanks.

Do you use about 1 TBS of Clorox per gal of water?

I was referring to SouthCo's post. I haven't done it yet, but I'd like to ask SC that question. Or does he pour it straight out of the bottle into the hose? It's go to go to all the faucets and work quickly because fresh would be chasing it. ???

Is a TBS about the correct amount per gal to sanitize the line?

That doesn't go into your fresh water tank though does it? I'd be concerned with residual bleach getting stuck in the lines.

After you sanitize you flush the tank and lines with plain water. That is what the owners manual tells you to do.

That is true about 95% of the time. I worked in Houston in the 80s and recall the weather got really cold over Christmas of 1986 or 87. Temps never got above freezing for a week. We lived outside of Katy, TX in a subdivision where all the houses were on slabs with the plumbing in the unheated attic. I kept my water dripping that week and was okay.
Many of my neighbors had left the area for Christmas and their pipes froze. When they thawed, it "rained" throughout their houses. I walked down my street with a large wrench. When I'd see water flowing under a front door, I'd turn off the water at the meter. Those houses had massive damage.
So it CAN get cold enough in Houston to require winterizing... Just not every year.
