Range Hood Outside Vent

We have a 2018 21QB and the outside vent doesn't appear to fit up properly to the metal wall and has a gap that is not well sealed. Does anyone else have this issue?

Not mine fortunately. A bit of butyl tape and you are all set.

The dealer is going to take care it along with a list of other things that are all results of poor workmanship by the factory.

No such thing as workmanship at lower end RV factories.

Wireman, what needs to be done is bring back the Old Sears Catalog where you could order your house and have it shipped to you for assembly!!! This would stop our soft floors, water leaks and electrical problems to name just a few.

That's for sure. I'd gladly buy a kit and build it myself.

I did do something similar in the 70's when I lived in the Midwest.

Bought a CAPP home if I remember the name correctly.

They roughed in the framework and I did all the finish work.

Siding, shingles, electrical, plumbing, drywall, heating, cabinets, trim work and flooring.

Saved a lot of money and wasn't worried about any hidden problems.
