Re new 28BHBE water and electric concern

Hi all!
I have a new trailer mentioned above and looked under the bottom bunk and was shocked to see that there was an electrical junction box from the 30 amp service cord directly under and touching plastic hoses connecting to the water heater.

Has anyone else noticed this? PISS poor design, electric and water don't mix and if the hose leaks... can't imagine how bad it could be. Has anyone seen this and if you have, did you contact anyone to address it? Scares me!
Thanks!

Hi to you. Congratulations on the new JayFlight and welcome to the forum.

RV electrical codes and practices are very different from homes etc. I'm not sure what others will say, but IMO neither Jayco nor the dealer are likely to change it as a warranty issue. Your dealer might change it if you ask or you might need to change it on your own.

This is how mine is. I put a Progressive Power Mgmt system in line and didn't have any concerns.

Going to secure the cable where it comes into the box because when I push the cable in it wants to move near the box and water lines. I will move it myself in the near future if this doesn't help. Thanks for your comments!
