Looks great. I decided not to tie mine to bumper for now. I came up with a method I would use to do it, but for now I'm not going to.

I tied mine to the bumper yesterday with a piece of 1/4" flat plate welded to the receiver tube and the back side of the bumper. I also ran a small 1 1/2" bead along the bottom of each side bracket for added security. It is very rigid now. I would have no issues with carrying my generator back there. I am now thinking about building my own cargo tray. The manufactured ones that I am finding online seem pretty flimsy to me.

I have finally got around to building my generator tray. I still need to get and install a rear view camera so I can keep an eye on everything while going down the road. Sorry that the pictures uploaded sideways.

Yes it does. You might have to use a receiver clamp to keep the rack from rocking back and forth. Jay

Thanks! Yes, it does rock a little bit. I have some ideas to minimize that though. I welded d-rings on my receiver. I can use a ratchet strap to put tension on the tray by putting a strap between the tray and one of the d-rings.

I’m thinking the Jayco hitch receiver won’t be strong enough to hold a 250lb motorcycle on a hitch carrier with the combined weight of the two and that it hangs out farther than a hitch normally would. Maybe I can find someone to fabricate one for the trailer that could support it. Do you think a one could be fabricated to fit the factory location that would work for my needs?

Nice looking beads!
I wish the factory welds on my frame looked that good.

With 5th wheels, maybe.

Depends on which state, laws vary. Google recreational double towing.
