Hi Evans, I looked at E-Trailer.com but, haven't ordered yet.
I did order my sidewinder pin box and a new 18 k Reese 5th wheel hitch. Fast process with ordering and shipping. I ordered hitch brackets for my truck and had them in a day. Free shipping too.
Hope this helps Wayne

The tech who did our training at delivery warned us to not mount a receiver on the rear "bumper" (hose storage) except for the very lightest of loads (probably like a cooler or a bike). He said to get someone to weld it to the actual frame of the trailer.

My dealer said the pullrite hitch is by far the best hitch for hooking behind a camper.

I second that we were told the same thing when we picked up our G2 26bhs.

I was also told not to add a hitch to the rear of the trailer by our tech. It will void the warranty. If you are planning on towing something there, it's not legal in most states. If you are planning on adding a storage tray, Jayco makes one that can be added. (it's what we ended up with)

Hey Usar2931,

It is legal in most states. It's not legal on the east coast. Probably 5/6th of the land mass of the US it is legal.

If the installation of the hitch "causes" a problem with the frame or anything else on the coach, then yes, it voids that part of the warranty. Only that part that's effected. They cannot void the whole warranty on a coach because you added something that wasn't stock...

Regards, Hamshog
