I have a 2014 Jayflight 24FBS. Just got home from the crappy Seattle area roads and noticed the refer had come loose from the frame at the top. It broke the plastic flange on the refer. I noticed that the frame barely caught the screws as the frame is atleast an inch too high for the unit!
Anyone else heard or had this problem?
Trying to figure out a good fix as I am sure no one would cover it under warranty.
If your saying the opening is too large (which may or may not be the case as the frig may need the air space etc) you could glue an extension onto the rail above the frig. Since it would be covered by the plastic flange it can be any solid hardwood. But if the screws caught the existing rail I'm not sure what difference it will make.
It's not unusual to have the needed opening larger than the exact height of a build in appliance. As long as the flange is covered most likely it's the design for some reason.
As said above please post a picture so we can help more.
Good Luck
