Question Refrigerator Problems

Norcold refrigerator flames out (using propane) when traveling on a highway. Works fine with propane when stationary. We have to stop every 50 miles to relight the pilot light. Dealer installed a metal box around pilot light to reduce wind draft, but it still flames out.

Are you getting a strong, blue flame on the pilot light? Have you cleaned it before use? I clean mine before I leave on every trip and carry air blast in case crud or spiders get into the pilot light tube.

If there is any white stuff on the pilot light tube clean it off with a tooth brush or brass brush.

Check the line to the pilot light for pinches or kinks that reduce pressure. If your stove is also giving problems or just isn't strong enough you might think about the regulator possible not giving out enough pressure.
Many post can be found with the search bar above. The exact model of your fridge might also help.

Definitely not normal. What model TT and frig do you have? Does is the upper vent up on the roof, or out the side wall? If out the side wall, I wonder if the restriction board was forgotten and there is to much air flow?

Can you open the rear access panel and take a picture of what the inside the mechanical area looks like? Maybe your configuration is not setup right.
