Refrigerator takes multiple tries to light on gas

2017 324bhts. Only used a few times but I seem to have an issue getting the fridge to switch to propane from electric before leaving on a trip. The fridge stays off while stored (I'm plugged in to keep the battery charged but don't see a reason to keep the fridge on). I eventually get it working but it takes running the gas burners and flipping the switch on the fridge on and off gas. The orange indicator comes on after about 2 mins telling me it didn't ignite properly. Usually about 5 times after messing with it, the light turns green and I can head out.

Any tips?

Air in the gas lines. You have to prime/burp them every time you turn off your propane supply. Lighting the stove is the easiest way to do it.

I always bleed the gas lines by running the stove for about 30 seconds until they are burning clean before switching fridge to gas.

Totally normal, as said above, run the stove for a minute or so prior to switching fridge. Otherwise it will always take multiple tries to ignite.

Even after running the stove it probably will take several try to light if the propane has been off.

Turning it on and off several times for several minutes is the only way to purge air from the propane line to fridge.
