Relocating TV bracket in a 19RD Jay Flight

Factory installed TV way up high so I get a crick in my neck while watching it. I want to relocate it so that it is at eye level. Not sure where the studs in the walls are located. I called the factory and they said they could not send me the wiring diagrams or blueprints because I was still under warranty! Bureaucrats! I also might like to put a TV bracket on the outside wall near a plug like I have seen some newer units have installed. Can anyone help me determine where my options are for relocating the TV bracket, both inside and outside, so that I will hit a stud when relocating it? Thanks

Stud

I don't think it's in a stud I think they add an extra "plate" of plywood to the wall. I wan to relocate mine to a swing down articulating arm under the shelf where the DVD player is.

You should be able to find the studs via normal methods if you still want to go that way..
