Remove AC Ceiling Vent and Seal

Wondering if anyone has removed the ceiling ac vents and sealed around them? We have cold air coming out of a ceiling electrical outlet and other places where cold air shouldn't be flowing. Just curious what you used to seal and how? I know how to remove vent and have HVAC tape. Thx

Many have sealed up the gap between the ceiling panel and the "attic" space, including me. Just took the plastic deflectors off, and cut aluminum duct tape into pieces, and taped the gaps. I found some of the deflectors stuck too high into the actual duct work, so some were trimmed shorter so they didn't restrict air flow.

Someone posted pictures of the work, and I'll try to find some for you.

Here's what you're looking for. It was made a "sticky" under the General Jayco RV Chat" thread, so it's easier to find.

Besides the divider fix, and sealing the unit under the A/c shroud, watch the video on post #26 for the interior vent mod.
