Remove bed platform 2015 white hawk ultra light

Hello my friend has MS and her family bought her a nice new mattress but it's too tall on the platform for her to get into... I was wondering how to remove the platform.. If it's an easy job or will it be an ordeal

Jayco Bed platforms are usually screwed in with #2 square drive bit screws. You will have to look for the location of the screws.

Would putting a 7"or 8" step on the floor at the bedside help her get into bed? I have a good friend with MS, and that helped him at home.

When I fractured my foot and ankle I had a really hard time getting in my Murphy bed. I found a folding step stool to use and that took care of my problem.

In my hybrid the beds are even higher so to make things easier I made a single step in front ( lighter color to see at 4:00AM bathroom call) and in the rear I made stairs. Hopefully this can give you some idea of a way to solve your problem.
