Removing Couch

Has any one removed their couch? I need to work on my dinette. To get into the area I need to work on I think I will need to move the couch. I looked at it, it is held in place by a few screws. Removing the screws is not a big concern--I should be able to do this with pretty quickly. My concern it putting it back. I really do not want it wandering around the trailer while we are driving down the road.

Any advice on securing it again?

thanks,
Joe

Yep, I replaced the little half wall/dinette back which required moving my couch. I have the tri-fold couch and fortunately/unfortunately there are only 4 screws that attach the couch along with 2 L brackets. You really only need to remove 2 of the 4 screws and just leave the other 2 that attach the L brackets to the floor in place.

Nuke,
Thanks for the reply. I'm working on the same wall. Do you have any details about the wall project you'd be willing to share?

Also, did you put the screws to secure the couch back into the same holes or drill new ones?

Yes of course. I posted a thread about it in mods under "replaced some cheese." Sorry I'm on my cell phone and can't figure out how to attach the link but if you search that title using the search function it will pop right up with photos and details. As for the couch I just used the same screw holes.
