Replace Flooring

I have a Jayfeather 27 RL that I would like to replace the carpet with the same flooring that's on the rest of the trailer.

I don't see a problem with the area that's where the recliners sit. But where the sofa and dining nook is I don't know what to do with the 1/2 inch tall strip that covers the full length of the slider.

What can be done?

I have had good results with vinyl planks they are flexible ,waterproof, interlocking, thin, light and withstand temperarure better than laminate ot wood. Though you may want to consider other options on festfloor.

Thank you so much for your reply. I bookmarked the other flooring you recommended as well. Guess I'll have to figure out how to deal with the lip so I don't impede the travel (in or out) of the slider.
