Replace lights in ceiling

My wife cannot reach the lights in the ceiling. Has anyone seen a replacement I could use that might have a pull cord?

Thanks

D

No. But have two neighbors that invested in LCD lights. A father/son( electricians) advertises.

I cant reach either, so now I use one of the spring tension rods (short ones that are meant to hold cupboard items in place) and easily press the on/off button. I still have to use a stool for the exhaust fan, but this make it easy for the lights anyway

My DW is only 4'10" tall so i know your pain. I replaced the toggle switch in the lights she wanted to reach with a pull chain type, and you can buy them at any hardware or big box store. The one for sure is the fan in the bath with a pull chain so she threw the long stick to reach the switch away. Happy wife, Happy life.

Did you replace the switch only or the whole fixture?

Just the switch, you can buy pull chain types at box stores, we but the chain type not the cord type and add decorative ends on the chain to make it look nice. you might have to drill out where the old switch was a little or add a couple of washers to get the pull type to fit but it works every time.
