Replace shades with blinds

Have 2009 Jay Feather 242 with the push up window shades. I want to replace them with blinds in the living room area. How do you remove the factory valance? I can't see the screws that hold the valance to the overhead cabinet. Another question is how do you adjust the tension on the push up window shades?

Hmmm...

Valance at least in my TT has 2 small screws holding to the walls and cabinets. I'll try and remember to get pictures of mine maybe it give you a clue.

You should be able to adjust the tension of the push up shades by wrapping the string one more time on the "round thingy" at the bottom of the shade. I wish I could think of what else to call it...

Take the curtains off. They are only held on with velcro. Then you can feel the screws that are holding the valance to the wall. A small mirror will help.
Once that cones off. you'll see how he shade is attached. it's pretty simple.

Can't find the screws on the valance.

I have a 2008 Jayco Jay Flight, I'm trying to recover the valances but can't find the screws to take them off. The only screws I see are at the top behind the blinds in a "L" shape metal thing. My blinds can slide side by side. Please help...I really don't want to have to paint it.
