Replacement blind cord

Where can I get factory replacement blind cord to restring a broken blind? It's the beige colour.

I've bought from Fix My Blinds a couple of times and received the proper product quickly delivered at the agreed price. You can buy just string, or "kits". So far i have just needed the string. It is much cheaper when you buy a roll, rather than a small quantity. And fixing one small window can take up a bunch of feet of string.

There's lots of information and instructions on that site.

I bought mine from an RV supply shop in my area. They all carry them, I have restrung almost every blind in my 2012 29 RLDS already, it is a real easy job.

This Pleated Shade First Aid Kit, Beige - United Shade 650004 - Drapery & Curtains - Camping World is what we bought to fix ours. Enough to do several shades.

Thanks, did that kit match the original cord colour perfectly?

I think it was so close you can't tell the difference on ours. It was a small shade by our bed, and the fix was easy once I figured out how the shade worked.

Thanks. I had the same trailer as you before my current one. Loved it.

I bought cord @ Jo-Ann Fabrics (865 stores in 49 states). First repair was a pain and took forever. Second was quicker. By #3? Well I'm not a pro, but pretty good.

We love out little guy. The instructions that came with our cord kit were just OK, but it's pretty easy to figure out the fix. A word of caution, be very careful prying the bottom end caps off. They are stubborn, and can break easily. Our cord frayed and broke due to a buggered up brass grommet, when they manufactured the shade. When you're ready to run the new cord through the pleats, squish the pleats together, and it becomes one solid hole to push the cord through.

I have a broken shade also. I put in a warranty claim since our 2 year warranty ends on 4/18 and we won't be going back to camper until 5/18. If anymore break after this, I was thinking I'm going to start replacing them with the cordless 'cut to size' cellular ones from home depot. We have them at the house and they work quite well. As a seasonal camper, at a seasonal site, my rig doesn't move so I really don't need the shades to be tethered at the bottom.

I called Jayco, gave them my VIN and they gave me a part number for the cord. I had a local dealer order a spool in for me and when I went to pick it up it was a different colour than what I have! It was significantly darker beige. She called Jayco and apparently my required colour has been discontinued? At least that's what I was told. So frustrating.

So now I'm trying to figure out what to do. Order something online at my best guess for colour and gauge, or try to find a blind store that has cord in stock and try to match that way. Either way it feels like a wild goose chase for a damn piece of string.
