Replacement steps
I am looking to replace my current steps in 2017 Jay Flight 29RLDS with something a little stronger. I saw Moryde and Lippert steps that mount in the door flame but then what about the opening where the old steps are...
Then I saw a You Tube video on the TorkLift Revolution scissor steps. Looks sturdy and strong enough but does anyone in the JOF have any experience with these steps. As always all opinions are welcome...

We added the torklift steps to our fifth wheel about a year ago and love them. Also the install was easy.

We installed the Torklift Glowsteps about two seasons ago. They are fantastic; sturdy, easy to deploy and eliminate any trailer movement from people entering. It will be one of the very first additions to our next rig.

A few days ago I installed the Lippert Solid Step in my FW. It was very easy to install. The only issue I had was the door gas strut that is located on the bottom of the door was in the way and I had to remove it. I've got to remount it on top of the door.
My wife really likes the wide 1st step on the Lippert. Makes it very safe and stable when stepping out of the trailer.

The GlowStep Revolution was my choice for replacement steps. I would definitely do it again. These have been in service for about 3 years now. Great product and no dirt, etc. falls inside when they are stowed.

We installed the Moryde steps at the end of last season and love them (solid as a rock). Easy install and took no time.We got the 2 step so no hand rail which would be nice. A lot of new campers are coming out with these standard. We still have the original steps on the camper, but will remove them and try to use the space for storage.

Another Torklift fan here. We’re going on 2 yrs with ours. It was pretty much a drop-in replacement for the original steps. In our case the originals had 3 steps and the first one was a bit high for the Bride (knee probs). I bought a 4 step Torklift and was a huge improvement.

I installed the Torklift steps on our camper 3 years ago. Best thing I modified on the camper. Very easy to install. Bolts right up with the same holes as the old steps. The only thing I had to do was use a aluminum spacer shim on each side because they are just a little narrower than the factory steps. Wife loves them also.

If you choose a step that flips up into the camper, there’s a storage box you can buy that mounts in the hole area where the old steps were stored. I don’t know exactly what or any type of tv they are meant for 5th wheel/travel trailer etc.

Or..........You can install these and save a bunch of $$$. Very solid. I have them on my camper and fully adjustable. https://www.etrailer.com/Accessories...tem%20-%20High
