Replacement Tires for 26RL Jayco TT

We are shopping for replacement Load Range E, 10 ply rating 15" tires for our 26RL travel trailer. Has anybody had experience, good or bad, with Westlake 225-75-R15 trailer tires? Will fill with Nitrogen.

Your advice and experience appreciated.

Have you checked with your local Discount Tire or other tire dealer who deals with various tires on a regular basis? Tires, like which truck to buy, and other similar subjects is pretty subjective since few have tried all brands or have a database of tires success or failure stats.

Filling with nitrogen is fine if you have someplace to refill every time you check your tires and need to add. What do you do if you have to add to the tire pressure? Drive to the nearest location with nitrogen? Not really practical.

Since the air we breathe is 78% Nitrogen, your tires already have that mostly. Why pay for it?

Some recent posts state problems with the Westlake tires.

I suggest, as will many others, Goodyear Endurance tires available at Discount Tire and other stores. Made in the USA and nothing but good reviews!

+1 for Goodyear endurance tires. Speed rating is 86. Not that anyone is going tow that fast. If your towing at 67 mph and your tires are rated at 65 mph (scary). If your tires are rated at 86 and your towing at 67 no worries

Another Goodyear Endurance customer, not a single problem in close to 10K miles.
