Replacing faucet, what tool to ream sink holes?

I'm installing a new kitchen faucet in our X23F. One of the holes in the sink is not quite large enough. What should I use to ream the hole a bit larger?

Thanks!

What is the material of the sink?

If it is composite (not metal) you might consider a rasp with carbide teeth or similar on a dremel if it is only a fraction of an inch.

It's not metal.

Turns out, I'm going to have to reach through that little hole to cut out some of the counter top too, or I'll never get the bolt tightened onto the new faucet body/handle... Ugh...

If you want to tighten the sink from the bottom get a basin wrench Odd looking and takes a little practice to use.

costs around $10 just about anywhere
TEKTON WRN92001 Basin Wrench, 3/8-Inch to 1-Inch Capacity, 11-Inch Reach on Amazon, maybe Lowes, Home, Menards, Ace

Just used mine last Friday to install a new kitchen sink set.

Depending how thick the material is a step drill bit may work.

Dremel tool with a grinding stone. The sink hole could be the guide.

If you are really serious about upgrading the kitchen sink, I would replace the oem sink with a stainless one. They should have standard drain an faucet holes. Our composit sink cracked during year 2 of ownership.
