Replacing Rear Axle

My rear axle needs to be replaced. Is there a 3rd party company that might handle this or should I take it to the dealer. Is there anything else I should consider such as upgrading to a heavier axle. First time I've ever encountered this issue. 2017 Whitehawk. It is a Lippert Axle, 3000 lbs. Since weight was pretty well balanced dealer believe I just hit one to many California pot holes.

I'd go with at least 3500 lb. axels if you need to replace.

Do you have a local frame / Spring shop in your area? If not, a trailer dealership? They would be my first choices over an RV dealer. I'm not sure you can upgrade only 1 of 2 axles so that may be an issue.

Get on the phone!
Plenty of shops in the Bay Area that should be better than a dealer.

Contact forum member Bono and see if he has any recommendations. I believe that he is from that area and just had an axle replacement done on their trailer.

See if you can get a Dexter axle, I have replaced both of my Lippert axles on our 2019 white hawk
