retro fitting electric awning arms on older Jayco

I have a 2002 Jayco jay flight 31BHS has anyone upgraded their awning with electric arms?
Worried the arm brackets will not have enough support just fastened to the top plate, then vertically down the brackets with molly rivets.
Also the siding is horizontal aluminum with a small corrugation.
Guess I could try and hit vertical studs but there are a lot of obstacles, plus your are restricted by your awning length, so you might hit one side and miss the other.
Looking at the Carefree Travel'R arms with motion sensor, 20' A&E awning tube, 19.5' vinyl canopy.

Welcome to the forum.

You could call Jayco with your VIN# in hand. They may have schematics on the framing for your trailer (I have no idea how far back they have that info.).
