It says in my owner's manual that mine torque to 140 ft.lbs.

Specifications for my aluminum rims are 100 ft.lbs., but my aluminum rims didn't come with my TT (originals were steel).

So I looked in my owners manual and found the torque spec of 90 to 120 ft/lbs. Thanks. But now another question when I just tried to torque them my rims seem to have small covers over each lug nut . Its an eagle so it has those aluminum rims I think. Does anyone know are they caps and if they are how do you get them off.

My Eagle is a 2010 and my caps are between the wheel and the studs. It's like you put them in from the back before you put your wheel on the stud bolts. Is is in the way so you can't get a socket in there?

I don't think they are like that they turn when I try to tighten them. Possibly a cap but can't figure out how to get them off without totally destroying them or scratching the rim. How the heck do you torque these then.

Sorry, I thought you were talking about the center cap. I'll check mine tomorrow and see what is on the lugnuts.

I'm not familiar with your aluminum rims, but some lug-nut applications have a plastic cover over each lug-nut and in some cases require a tool like this to remove them:

Might try a small pair of pliers/needle nose with some electrical tape wrapped around the grip-ends so not to damage the caps.

Just thinking out loud here.
