ripples in rubber roof

I bought my 184BH in April and only recently climbed on to the roof to clean it. I noticed the roof membrane wasn't pulled tight across the roof and there were ripples in it. Everything is intact, should I be concerned? Is your roof membrane pulled taut from end to end?

Some "minor" irregularities in the rubber roofing is normal (small air pockets, etc.), and I believe that the roofing material isn't glued along/near the wall/roof joint. I would take the TT to your dealer and have them confirm that everything is ok, and confirm they document that you brought it in (keep copy). Also, keep in mind that all seams, joints, and caulked areas should be inspected twice a year to maintain the two warranty.

The roof has a 12 year warranty not a two year. However, it still should be inspected twice a year in the places you noted.

Only the EPDM roofing material has the 12 year warranty, not the install job or the sealants. So if installed improperly from the factory, the 12 yr warranty is likely nixed, and would be up to the RV manufacturer to cover. Then you go back to the 2 year deal.

That's correct.

IMO the majority of warranty service claims that have a root cause associated with the RV "roof" have nothing to do with failure of the actual rubber roofing material itself..., but more to do with the installation, sub-structure, seams, caulking, roof hardware, etc., which all fall under the two year warranty. This is why the inspections (documentation) are critical to avoid a warranty claim rejection.
