Roof bubbles after fan install

I Installed a MaxxAir fan the other day on our 2016 24MBH . Applied the Dicor Friday and climbed on the roof today to check it out. Noticed the roof of the trailer is all bubbly/wavy all around the fan , almost as if when the Dicor cured it shrunk little and pulled the roof membrane with it. What would cause this and how do I go about fixing it ?

Just a thought.......

One possibility is it may have been your roofing material reacting to the Dicor sealant.

Dicor has a couple different products out there including a new "Ultra" Sealant that is more compatible with some of the newer TPO roofing material formulations...., if you have a TPO material (lieu of EPDM).

Dicor Ultra: Dicor Products | Ultra Sealant System

Dicor standard: https://dicorproducts.com/product/epdm-lap-sealants/

What I don't know is how does one tell if the TPO roofing material has a 'formulation' that requires using the "Ultra" (?).

When we picked up our unit last year there were ripples in the TPO at the front caulking joint were the fiberglass meets the TPO. We were told by the Technician at the dealership that it was a reaction between the TPO roof and the caulking and that it would smooth out eventually when the caulking cures and it did. I was up on the roof today doing the spring inspection and it is still smooth. However there were a couple of screws that had to be tightened down so after I did I patched them with eternabond.

I've used the "501lsw" for years without any roofing material reaction.

Feel free to post a couple pics.

By any chance did you clean the roof with a petroleum product, that might cause that problem

I would call Dicor and send them the picture and ask their advice.

I replaced a skylight on my 2015 Whitehawk and it did the same thing. I thought the same thing you did what the heck did I do wrong. I just left it. I went up a couple months later and is was smooth. Don't know why, but I have had no problem with the skylight.

Well that's reassuring. Showed my dealer the pictures today and he said its totally normal . Once the Dicor cures completely it should go away
