So as soon as possible make a decision and go? no need to wait on a new TT? Or wait till 6 months to a year?

Im leaning toward coating the seams and dicor.

I'd wait a little while. I put mine through the ringer for over a year and kept an eye on things. Lots of miles, got a few bugs worked out etc.

No need to rush into anything, just keep an eye on it and be proactive. If they did everything on the roof correct, you'll be ok for a while.
