Roof question

I posted earlier on a minor tear and how to repair it, I went with a dealer doing a etherna bond patch rather than replace the roof and open the trailer up, since it only 6 months old. And that thought scared me.

My new question is I went up on the roof to inspect the repair now I have it back and noticed the perimeter of the roof where it rolls over the edges, on both sides of the trailer, is not glued down and appears to be slightly bubbled. Is this normal for heat expansion, contraction, or driving flexibility?
I live in AZ, or should it be glued down?
As always thank for any input.
