Roof Walking?

There are many questions and suggestions regarding roof access but I found zero threads pertaining to the Jayco Skylark roof. I want to install a Maxxair II vent cover on the front vent. The front vent is located too far to reach from any edge point. I cannot see any support member outlines beneath the rubber roof. I will not walk on the roof. Just wondering if I can directly lay on the roof or if I MUST use something like a 2'x4' piece of thin plywood or a similar substance.

Thank you.
HAPPY CAMPING!

You might try emailing Jayco. I was of the understanding that all Jayco trailers have walkable roofs.

I have a Jayco skylark and have been on the roof several times with no issues. I stayed on my hands and knees as I was washing the rubber roof. I have never put weight on the nose roof plastic area though.

I'm sure you can walk on your roof without an issue. But like you said, you can be cautious and use a piece of plywood to distribute your weight. You should be ok though.
