Rv Fresh water check valve
I have a 2018 Jayco Bungalo 40 RLTS. Recently I had a cheap plastic regulator installed outside on my fresh water hose and the internal piece broke. For the time being I removed the plastic piece that broke on the inside and I turned the pressure down low on my city water connection at the spigot. I wasn’t able to get one at that moment because it was night time. After work the next day I went to install the new one and my hose connection was leaking prior to removing the hose below the old regulator which is hooked up directly outside the trailer. I hooked the new regulator up and the hose still leaked. I tried 3 different hoses, none of which leaked prior to this, and all 3 leaked below the connection. Could I have damaged my fresh water check valve? Or what other issue could be causing it to leak? It’s as if the hose has too much pressure and is leaking in the pressed connection below the male threaded portion. Also I noticed water free flowing slightly through the city water connection while I was working on it.
