Safety chains too short now

Hooked up the 23MRB to the new tow vehicle and the chains seem to be a bit short now. What are my options to either extend the chains or get new chains to get some additional slack in them. How short is too short?

Turn sharp to the right, check chains. Turns sharp to the left, check chains.

Thanks, was thinking of adding a couple appropriately sized tow shackles after doing some more research.

I had to add these. https://www.theisens.com/products/in...640-lbs/82931/. Just attach them to your truck. I ordered mine off Amazon.

Factory shortening those chains 3 links keeps the prices affordable on these trailers.

Yeah, add some links like mentioned above. Or you can buy longer chains and deduct links to get the right length. Better long than short.
