Schwintek controller location

I have a 2018 Jayflight 29RLDS and I’m having a problem with schwintek slide. The ft part of slide will only move out 4” or so the rear section works fine. I’ve tried to synchronize by holding the switch down for 5 seconds once it gets all the way out and when it gets all the way in. Still same problem. I got in touch with a schwintek tech and he said I need to find the controller. I called Jayco they said to look under bathroom vanity or in forward storage area. I didn’t see it in those two places and or a hatch/door to look behind. I also looked under kitchen sink area taking off panel where all the wiring and fuse box is. I looked in bathroom linen closet no luck. Has anyone found any other area their controller is mounted. I will call Jayco again Monday but thought I’d put it out here first. Thanks in advance.

I do not know anything about the Jayco you have.

You didn’t say which slide it is. The controllers are usually mounted near their slideout. Jayco seems to put them in the dumbest places they can find to hide them.

Look in a closet, under bathroom sink, anyplace that you can find a removable panel etc.
In a cabinet. Under a drawer.

Thanks, Jayco when I called didn’t seem to know either. I’ll look under cabinet drawers . It’s really a shame they don’t specify to their installers where to install items. This should be an easy fix/check for the owners.

One other gripe is they might not be in the center of the access area. Mine is off center so far that I had to relocate just to see what I was doing.

Well I finally found my schwintek slide controller . It was in the bathroom linen closet very bottom . I got 12-14 red blinking lights ????? I reset the controller and slide came in fine but still forward section only goes out 4-5 inches each time I depress the slide switch. Tried synchronizing the motors a few times but still same results. I will call schwintek tomorrow and talk to them.
One last parting shot at Jayco and I suppose other manufacturers of recreational vehicles/trailers why mount an electric motor/controller where there are several water lines and why not place them without having to contort your body into a pretzel .
Thanks to all who replied.
