scratch on 2019 jayco 330rsts side

After our last camping trip I noticed some scratches on the side of the trailer. The scratch went from close to the door to the rear of the trailer. I polished most of it out except for a section on the slide out. It appears it must have been done with a tree branch. The fiberglass wasn't damaged, just the finish. Didn't realize it wasn't gel-coat. Has anyone experienced a scratch like this and how did you get it repaired? Thanks in advance.

Cheapest fix. A map of the us sticker. And mark the states you have visited off.

They look like surface scratches that would buff out if you know what your doing. If there is no depth to the scratch it is likely just on the surface. Polishing is just a process of making finer and finer scratches.

I'm going and try buffing. If this doesn't work, I'll try wet sanding followed by buffing.

Try buffing with Meguire's Scratch-X, then a good coat of wax. Once you've done that, I doubt if you'll even be able to find it!

Thanks Brownie, will try that when I get my trailer out of storage. A few people said to try and buff it out. If that doesn't work, I'll try wet sanding with a fine grit paper followed by buffing and it that doesn't work, I'll live with it. i called a couple of body shops and they couldn't offer any advice. I've owned fiberglass boats in the past and it was fairly easy to repair a scratch. Since this doesn't have a layer of gel-coat, I can understand why a body shop wouldn't want to get involved
