Securing 2 Batteries in Place: 2018 322RLOK

Hello:

We have a 2018 322RLOK with one 12V battery located between the jack and propane tanks cover. I am going to remove the one battery replace it with two 6V batteries.

I plan to place the new batteries on the empty battery tray behind the propane tanks in two battery cases. This is so the propane hose can remain as it is running over top of the tray (see diagram below / attached JPG).

Battery box straps would go around each battery box and battery tray (as on simgle existing battery) but, concerned about movement of batteries sid to side.

What have others who have done this stop the batteries from moving side to side?

I was thinking some thick pieces of pressure treated wood: between and on either side of the batteries with wood secured by large tie-wraps or similar. Note that the battery tray is not a rectangle but, the ends are angled.

Just drill a couple of holes in the bottom of each battery box, and through the battery tray. Bolt them down with 1/4" bolts/washers/nuts.

No problem. And try to position them so the batteries don't rest directly on the bolt heads. I bought a larger battery box that would hold both of my 6v Trojan batteries, and it's been bolted in place for years.
