Have a 2014 White Hawk 30DSQB and our hose stores in the rear bumper...attachments in plastic tote inside rear storage compartment near rear bumper and hookups.

5 gallon bucket with a screw on lid. You can use the bucket for dumping water down your turlet when you dump.

WVDusty, much better idea than in a leaf bag in the bed of the TV, like I do. Either way avoids removing and reinstalling the fittings with each move.

Why are a lot of folks against just using the square tube bumper for sewer hose stowage?

We use a rubbermaid tote that we drilled holes in the lid for ventilation. We have seen far too many hoses on the side of the road during our travels due to the cap coming off the bumper in transit and the hose wigglying out.

Just answering for myself, I don't want to be bothered with removing and reinstalling the end fittings over and over again. If we stop two or three nights en route to a destination it would cause an unnecessary waste of time that could be better spent getting on down the road or just smelling the roses.

In my TT I added the hinged vented Bumper caps. I found it to be quite a tight fit to get the sewer Hose end fittings in but does work. It seems to create more rust inside the bumper.
I will be adding sewer hose storage tubes to my new FW. But I rarely use them. I got a Tank Buddy kit and a 35 gallon waste tote. I leave the tote in the bed of my TV and pump the waste into it then drive it to a dump station, takes several trips. A good setup for boondocking.

Hmmm. I've always wondered why the manufacturers don't just make the square bumpers big enough to allow storage of the hose with fittings already connected. It would be a simple convenience that many people would appreciate.

I could fit the hose in the bumper but the fittings must be rotated so the hooks fit in the corners. I would prefer the bumpers be aluminum so it wouldn't rust. As far as crash protection the bumpers are a joke anyway.

I agree, I use the rear bumper and my attachments fit. I keep the clear attachment and the outlet adapter, along with some hand sanitizer, in a plastic bucket in the rear maxi-stor area. Jayco would have to create a 6 x 6 bumper to keep everything. Is that what people would want? I guess that added storage would be an easy enough add for Jayco and make things very convenient, still need a black water garden hose though to flush with.
