Sewer Hose storage 272RBOK

On my new Eagle HT 272RBOK trailer there is no tube to store the sewer hose. I am wondering if anyone has found a solution or added a device for storing the hose.

I installed 2 of these on our 30.5CKTS

https://www.campingworld.com/adjusta...B&gclsrc=aw.ds

At the time, it was available in black. Other vendors may have black in stock.

Sewer Hose Carrier

Thank you, that looks like a great solution! I will try to mount it to the frame rails.

FYI, I used 2 pieces of ⅛ thick aluminum sheet (aka old street sign) to extend the mounting point out past the frame so the end cap of the holder was accessible without crawling 2' under the trailer... it also allowed for a longer hose.

Also, be sure to leave one end cap off your hose until you have almost all the hose in the tube, sealing the hose traps the air inside and won't let it totally compress and wont fit in the tube. Ask me how I know...

Sewer Tube

Thanks for the advice, I've been worrying about the install. The part is due here on Thursday. I hope I can drill thru the steel frame rail, pretty sure I can do it. Does the tube support itself good enough at the center slide point? I'm hoping I don't have to figure out a way to hang something in the middle. Thank you for your input.

Its solid.

I used the provided extra clamp at the frame mount on one side, and then screwed the molded in clamp on the end of the tube onto the aluminum plate. Since it only came with 1 extra glue on clamp, i just mounted it to the frame on the other side using metal strapping.

I will try to get some pics in the next couple days and update this thread.

Made my own with 5" vinyl fence post cover and u shaped gutter. Gutter works like a tray to put everything into and slides in and out easily. Works excellent! Many articles out there for this technique.

I've had the Valterra hose carrier on my Eagle, and now my NP. I didn't use the extra mount on either trailer, never had an issue.

The I-beam is easy to drill through. I used self tappers with an impact driver.

Thank you Greg, those pictures are helpful! I see you made good use of the aluminum plate. I have my trailer at Camping World right now but will mount the tube when I get it back. I am having a slide cover installed, also there is a gap at the floor at one end when the slide is closed. The dealer is having Jayco send a foam block that apparently was not installed when the unit was built. I notice a foam block at a similar area in one of your photos. --Glenn

Gtoglenn - On the sewer hose storage, I painted two PVC fence posts and mounted them under the frame. Have PVC gutter sections to act as pull out drawers.
