Shade Restring Kit

Has anyone used the United Shade 65000 Pleated String First Aid Kit from Amazon? If so, was the instructions enclosed and were they adequate?

I'm getting ready to restring one of my shades. My post is on here.
There are plenty of you tube videos that show you how to do it. A couple of people replied to my question and said it wasn't a hard job to do.

dont waste your money on a restring kit

After a broken string I took mine apart. The string is not strong enough. I used a nylon braided string, and restrung it with no problem.

We've been buying this: 5 YARDS .9mm 1.4mm 1.8mm PLEATED Cellular SHADE Blind TAN Beige LIFT & PULL CORD on EBay from Shadedoctor. Inexpensive and works great. Took some thinking for the first shade but have done several since and they work fine now.
