Shark Fin 212QB

Just purchased a 2021QB and haven’t been out camping yet. While testing the tv reception the shark fin worked great. Latter in the day tried it again and the booster didn’t do anygood even though the green light was lit. It was 90 degrees out in the afternoon. Tried it this morning and works but not like the morning before. My question is, were is the booster at(above the switch under the shark fin)? Hoping its a loose cable but maybe a bad booster or shark fin. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks

I have not had good luck with our shark fin. We've always had the winegard sensar crank up batwing. I got a quote yesterday from local dealer to replace shark fin with crank up winegard. They quoted $208 for labor and I supply antenna. Shark fin is worthless.

I’m still working on getting to know this camper but was curious as to were to start looking. What I have read you are in agreement with a lot of people that the shark fin is junk! Let me know how your new antenna works. When I get further down the road I will need to decide which antenna will give me the most bang for my $. Thanks
