Shopping - Looking for experienced White Hawk owners

Hello there!

My wife and I are looking to be upgrading to our second trailer. We have quickly outgrown our small forest river wolf pup.

We had been shopping for a few Grand Design Imagines, however we have found ourselves also liking the White Hawk 29bh. There are a few 2023 models for sale.

I am curious if anyone has any experience with the quality and longevity of the whitehawks and or this floor plan. I know overall RV quality is bad right now, but everything is relative.

Thank you in advance for any info!

Hello and good luck with your new travel trailer decision. We owned a 2016 White Hawk 28BHKS (very similar to the 29 bunk house you are looking at) and loved the camper. Some minor issues, but not bad. Lots of great memories, but needed more room for longer trips with three kids. Overall, great experience and recommend the White Hawk!

I don't have a White Hawk. I would say more important than the brand or model RV is the dealership. Spend a fair amount of time researching the dealer, and their post sale reputation. A good dealer will make all the difference.

Swfinn,

The dealer you purchase from can make a lot of difference. If the Jayco dealers in your neighborhood are Camping World, I'd search other dealers. I believe you are in Oregon. I had a not so pleasant experience with the Jayco Dealer in Kent WA. But you may do okay there. We live in the Seattle area and bought our White Hawk from Blade RV/Chevrolet in Mt. Vernon WA.

You might check the dealers near you and get a written price and then call Blade to see if they can beat the price. Blade has a top notch Service Department, also.

Ya, Sadly the biggest Jayco dealer we have is campers world. We have a couple others and it may be worth just straight up ordering from another dealer. I think at this point we are going to wait for the November RV show in Portland and see if we can find or order thw unit we want there.

There are 2 on "clearence" at campers world in the area for 45-46 sticker, but I can already see from pics suspect stuff like the front hold pass through does not have baggage slam latches like its supposed to just the regular ones.

I am not beyond driving to mount Vernon to purchase, but probably would not make it up for service.

I just bought a 2024 Jayco WH 26FK from Canopy Country RV in Yakima.
They have a good repair dept and the experience was very good. Did this to avoid the Kent dealer even though it was over 2 hrs from my house.
