Yes you should, it also keeps down the noise.

I grease mine but I think it depends on what kind of WDH you have. Also grease the balls on the TT and boat trailer hitch.

I used to lube the ball, but I got sick and tired of getting grease on my hands and clothing. I'll live with the extra bit of noise.

On my Reese Dual Cam WD anti sway hitch the part shown in the picture is lubed with a couple of drops of oil. I have the HD Dual Cam and on the other side of the arms I use just a touch of Vaseline.

Love my Reese setup. It makes towing a pleasure.

It looks like zerk fittings on the hitch head. If so, IMO it should be lubed there.

I have a Equal-i-zer weight distribution hitch. I grease the ball and the pivot points for the sway bars on the hitch. For where the sway bars attach to the frame, I use these Sway Bar Jackets and do not grease them.

Looking a photo #1, it doesn't look like a zerk fitting. It looks like a bolt holding the trunnion pivot to the weight bar.

Because on my Equalizer brand WDH they say to lubricate the hitch head pivot sockets, IMO your trunnion pivots should be lubricated.

Of course free advice is worth every cent you paid for it.
