Yes you should, it also keeps down the noise.

I grease mine but I think it depends on what kind of WDH you have. Also grease the balls on the TT and boat trailer hitch.

I used to lube the ball, but I got sick and tired of getting grease on my hands and clothing. I'll live with the extra bit of noise.

On my Reese Dual Cam WD anti sway hitch the part shown in the picture is lubed with a couple of drops of oil. I have the HD Dual Cam and on the other side of the arms I use just a touch of Vaseline.

Love my Reese setup. It makes towing a pleasure.

It looks like zerk fittings on the hitch head. If so, IMO it should be lubed there.

I have a Equal-i-zer weight distribution hitch. I grease the ball and the pivot points for the sway bars on the hitch. For where the sway bars attach to the frame, I use these Sway Bar Jackets and do not grease them.

Looking a photo #1, it doesn't look like a zerk fitting. It looks like a bolt holding the trunnion pivot to the weight bar.

Because on my Equalizer brand WDH they say to lubricate the hitch head pivot sockets, IMO your trunnion pivots should be lubricated.

Of course free advice is worth every cent you paid for it.

That is not a zerk fitting, I know it looks like one, but it is the nut on the bolt holding the head on the bar. Will lube from now on. They are heavy duty, but for their age, they are really starting to wear down.
Thanks

Yes, Grease the upper and lower points of the bars that attaches to the hitch head. Also grease the ball. Helps prolong life of components and helps quiet them as well.
A ball cover will help from getting grease on your clothes and shins when unhitched.

Unless it's friction sway control.

Do not grease the bars where they rub on the frame. It needs friction without lubrication in order to function as anti-sway. Even states in the owners manual not to. All other points can be greased...

Looks like my E2 hitch bar... yes, grease both nubs that fit into the reunion head. x2 on what Neo1130 said. Do not grease the opposite end of the bar that rests on the trailer frame brackets...those a friction points for sway control.

The bars clamp to the dean with a chain. I have a separate anti sway bar that i slide onto to those little balls and tighten the slide down.

ABSOLUTELY! Not only does lubing the hitch friction points and the ball cut down on noise, the REAL reason is to cut down on friction and heat/rust build up. Towing over a long period of time with a dry (unlubed) hitch is not safe.
