shower gap

Our Jayco has a gap in the shower wall about 1/4" where the tub surround meets the tub. Any suggestions on the proper caulk and methods to rectify this?

Ours is like that too. IMHO I would not chalk this gap. It's there so any moisture that may get behind the surround can drain down and out.

The tub should have a lip that goes up higher behind the surround. Unless you hit it hard with a spray of water, it should not get wet up there. I would think caulking it would make a bigger mess.

I have replied to a post like this before. DO NOT CAULK. I was warned very sternly by my Jayco Service dept when I took delivery of my Jayco 213.

Water cannot get behind the tub surround. The reason it is not caulked is because the tub and walls flex while the trailer is being towed. The caulking would crack in no time. The tub has a lip that goes up an inch or two behind the surround, so there is no way that water is going up there.
