Siding Repair

I have a 2001 Eagle and I managed to punch a small hole in the rear siding. It looks like it may have been hit with a baseball or I backed into a tree limb or something. We just discovered it after getting home. It's big enough that I can push on it with light pressure and see the foam backing. Is this something I can repair on my own? I'm not looking for cosmetic perfection, I simply don't want it to take on water. I'm assuming the flexible siding is fiberglass, but I'm not sure. If so, can I simply use a fiberglass patch to repair it? Will caulk work instead? Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'd seal it up with some fiberglass patch and put a nice big JAYCO decal over it......

The picture below shows how I took my decals off....but up where your hole is located is where you usually find the JAYCO logo....

So it is fiberglass? I'll try patching it. Thanks for the logo suggestion as well because it won't be pretty after I get done.
