Sink cover

We have a 2015 X213 trailer and had to order the sink covers from the dealer. I was wondering if anyone else got them and can tell me why the larger sink cover has slats cut out? I imagine it's to let liquid drain or maybe to keep air circulating when we store the trailer?

There are sink covers available? Awesome! I have to get us some! Same as you, our 2015 did not come with them.

Can you post pics?

We keep the trailer at a storage lot but I will try to get a photo up here. We called our dealer and they ordered them for us. Good luck!

The slats on the sink covers is supposed to be for plates. I use a small dish rack.

Do you know if your sink is made by Duro Form plastics? If they are you can order from them directly. All you need is the model # for the sink. It is located on the underneath backside of the sink. I ordered directly from them in 2011. It was $10 for the small side and $15 for the large side plus shipping.

Hope this helps.

I was told during my PDI that it was a cutting board and the slats are for rinsing the veggies, allowing the water to flow into the sink. Doesn't seem to be a big advantage to me.

ID:	17746 Good for cutting limes on! Just here at the dealer, still trying to decide on the last 2015 they have. Want to make the right choice. We are moving up from a 17' Casita.

Good luck getting that label off the sink! After two outings and several sinks full of hot, soapy water, it is still stubbornly attached!! LOL!

Goo Gone will take it off in seconds with ease.

Does anybody have a link or picture to the light/fan that uses the plug on the roof by the slid? My dealer has the lights made for the pop ups but those snap on the canvas rods, so I'm wondering how they mount in the 213 they said I'm the 1st to notice that!Click image for larger version

BUT stickiness residue (roughness) survives after many sessions with Goo Gone! EVENTUALLY it'll dissipate!

We don't have any residue left on ours. I only ever use olive oil or 99% isopropyl alcohol to remove residue. So it was one of those that did the trick.

I was camping this week in our 213, and I saw that mount and wondered what it was for! Please post if you find anything about that option. To be sure-- you said it's for a fan/light fixture?

I contacted the company who makes the sink to ask about the sink covers. While both covers cost US$25, they would change $37.50 to ship them to Canada. And they refuse to ship postal service, will only ship via UPS which has exorbitant brokerage fees.

So the $25 items will end up costing me CAD$130 or more. Guess I'm not getting sink covers.

I'm ordering them also. If it makes you feel any better they quoted me $20 for shipping and we are both located in Michigan.

Mine were 60$ at the Dealership. They had to order them in though.
