Sink Covers and Stove Cover Jay flight 28bhbe

So the wife really wants the sink covers and stove cover for our 2015 Jay Flight BHBE. I would like not to have to contact camping world for the sake of not having to bang my head against the wall. Anyone know where I can order them. Next time get the elite version people lol, and we all know when momma is a happy camper everyone is a happy camper.

Not sure about the sink covers but my 28bhbe with elite package did not have a stove cover. I ordered an Atwood 54106 black bifold cover. I'm not 100% that this is the correct part but I will update here once I get it.

I have this and installed it myself (easy to do) and works great in my 28BHBE and fits perfect.

Our Eagle's stove came with a fold back cover. I thought they all did. We misplaced the sink covers and Jayco told me matching replacements, if still available, would cost well over a hundred dollars though. I can't recall the exact price. Fortunately, I found them a year later in a bin in the garage. Camping World has a selection of sink covers, but it might make an easy do-it-yourself project.

the KISS method

My wife wanted more "counter" space when not using the stove top. Our simple solution was to use a heavy plastic/nylon (?) cutting board large enough to cover the entire cook top. We super glued four wine bottle corks at the corners and now have a cover that doesn't scratch the cook top, is removable for cooking, and still is usable as a cutting board. We also enjoyed collecting the wine corks!

My new rig with elite came with sink covers but no stove top cover. Wifey bought a nice cutting board that fit on the stovetop perfectly

ordered both sink and stove covers from Amazon, both fit perfectly and both were cheaper than the ones at camping world and just as durable as the ones sold there (we looked there first before I ordered online).

ANd I obviously do not know how to reply to each person. I really like this forum but it can be confusing how to do stuff, sorry everyone gets the response, and once again thank you everyone. We are in Colorado and are getting the trailer out this weekend for the first time this year. It looks like rain but that's why we got a big travel trailer right lol.

For the sink covers, I had some 3/4" pine shelving kicking around. I made a cardboard template to match the sink and cut two pieces to size. I routed the edges, and I still have to seal the wood. I might stain it to match the existing woodwork before sealing.

Good luck if you go out this weekend - we were supposed to go to Cheyenne Mtn but now I hear we are supposed to get 10+" of snow

I've done a little research on the sink covers and it seems it's better to make your own. The remade ones are pretty expensive for what they are. Our trailer sinks are the same size so we'll need a one piece cover. My hubby is going to make one for our trailer this summer.

The stove cover is universal fit from what I can tell so ordering one off of Amazon is probably a safe bet.

Be safe this weekend if you go out - where are you headed?

Sink Covers

Check out the link to this thread on the sink covers I recently made for my new Redhawk. Cutting boards from Walmart. Very easy project.

Thank you, we are going to Carter Lake, we will be at Cheyenne Mountain the weekend of May 13th. Never been there, but I heard they have some archery ranges, bringing mine and the kids bow, should be fun. Hopefully you guys can get out soon, I am bringing the trailer home tonight, cant wait to get inside it and start hooking it up, I missed it lol.
