I've used 2 different coatings, due to different types of roofs on different rigs. ProGuard Liquid Roof on the EPDM and Supercoat for TPO on the TPO roofs. You can't get the Supercoat just anywhere since it's more for industrial applications, but I got them to send me a couple of quarts. ProGuard Coatings is my favorite company for this type of stuff. They've got something for everything. I do all my seams on the roof, opposed to Eternabond. Yes I've used eternabond, and it's great, but I have my reasons for not using it. Lots of conversation went on between me, skylight manf, ProGuard etc before trying it, but after having done it on several rigs, full timing, seeing how it holds up in all types of weather, it's all I do now. It cleans very easy (easier than the roof), and after full timing, I saw no change in the coating. In the pictures, this is our present rig with the Supercoat for TPO. It goes on like syrup, very thick, and you have to work somewhat efficiently, or quick. I have 2 coats of the stuff on the skylights, and it has done well for us.

Here's one of the reasons they're coated. Bathroom one just has the inner dome painted and reinstalled instead of the décor. We don't like natural light coming in, as it brings heat with it. If we want lights inside, we turn on the lights. We go outside if we want sunlight. Just our preference.

Thank you BigJohnD, but I just got a message from IconDirect that their domes are made of an UV resistant polycabonate so I am not going to worry about discoloring. The most important factor is impact resistance. I do not want to find out that hail has broken the dome during the summer when the trailer is stored here, summer is the wet season in the Florida Keys.

Where did you buy the blind at?

Thanks,
