Slide

Hi All,

I have a 2010 25 RKS I just got back from Port A, TX and bedding the trailer down here at home. I went to extend the slide and all I get is a clicking sound. Any ideas?

Thanks
Joe Mc Austin, TX

Slide button has two functions. In and out. Make sure you are pressing out.

Sounds like it is jammed. I am sure you have confirmed that there is nothing obstructing its motion? Don’t forget to look at the slide out roof from the inside the TT, something may have fallen and is obstructing it motion. May also try “bumping” into the slide with your shoulder a few times in different locations. Otherwise it sounds like you will need to look at the gearbox, something may have broke or come loose.

A slide lock is an adjustabale bar sort of like a cargo bar for trucks. It goes between the wall of the TT to the top of the closed slide. Some seem to come with one and others dont. Only our wardrobe slide came with one. I also say to check your battery or plug into shore power as I know my slides go very slow on battery power only..

Get someone to help you. Give it an even push out while someone is holding the switch to the out position. It may have come in to far and jammed.

Or take the access panel off under and try manually cranking it.
