Slide in or slide out

i'm jsut wondering is it ok to put your slides out while hook up to the truck. or must you unhook, stabilize and then put the slides out.

Full timers for 10yrs.

Many times we "overnight it".

Staying connected, lowering the landing gear/stabilizers, putting the slides out, has never been a problem...

We overnight a lot. We make sure TT is level, lower the stabilizers, and put out the slide. Have never had a problem. Strongly recommend the stabilizers as I saw one travel trailer that didn't and the slide was not level and the seals would not have worked in the rain. Helped him level the trailer before he retracted the slide.
